Let the adventure begin ...

I will document my adventures in seeking for a quiet life in the country. I left Amarillo, TX in late summer of 2009 (early August) in search of a place where I can hear the voice of God more clearly and see His character revealed in nature. Thus far -- I have trimmed trees, cut wood, mowed lawns, picked weeds in a garden, setup a temporary outdoor home (tent), and have made some new friends. Recently I've been helping to renovate an old home north of Kettle Falls. At night I hear the coyotes howling outside my tent and during the day wild turkeys roam about and deer play freely nearby. The views here are awesome and the mountains so serene and majestic. Below are some pictures of the Kettle River, which is only 7 miles from where I am currently staying.
